Expandable support for 8TB SSD

  • Screen Share Preview: When someone shares their screen at a party, you’ll see a preview of what they’re sharing before you join the party.
  • Easy Joining Friends Play Sessions: You can easily see which friends are in an activity you can join under the “Friends” tab. The “Joinable” icon will be displayed next to friends who are playing a game you can join.
  • Reactions to Messages with Emojis: You can now add reactions to messages with emojis, making it easy to communicate with friends quickly and easily.

Usability improvements

The update includes several usability improvements:

  • Search for games in your library: You can now search for games within your game library.
  • Game Help Improvements: The game’s hint cards have been improved, making it easier to find objectives and their corresponding clues. You can also view available, previously available, upcoming, and completed activities.
  • Discover new features: Explore useful tips to get the most out of your PS5 and discover new features in the “Discover Tips” section.
  • PS5 Sound Mute: You can adjust the volume of the PS5’s sound or mute it completely when you turn it on or off, or when you put it in sleep mode.
