The Genius plastic washing and recycling line relies on the screw press dewatering machine, also known as the Squeeze Dryer, as its most critical component.
Washed plastic films can retain up to 30% moisture, which significantly affects the efficiency and throughput of the downstream pelletizing process. The latest advancement in the field of plastic film recycling, screw press desiccant machines or compression dryers are able to desiccate the washed film, reduce the volume of recycled materials and further refine the essence of the final plastic pellets. The new screw press desiccant machine from Genius ensures that no more than 3% moisture content remains after the drying process, which increases the production efficiency and pellet quality of the plastic recycling pellets.
the line of plastic recycling washing plants from Genius also includes rigid wash plants as well as film wash plants. Rigid wash plants are designed to recycle post-consumer hard materials such as bottles, injection molding waste or scrap, pipes, e-waste and other hard materials. These systems produce uniform plastic flakes with high purity and low moisture content.
The Film Washing Plant was designed by Genius to help users recycle film or post-consumer bags. After washing and compression, these machines can produce high quality compressed flakes with moisture levels below 3%.
